We’re always looking for ways to improve our processes and workflows, so we’re introducing a new Valerian robot 🤖: the Slack assistant!
What our new bot does
When you send a new message in our shared Slack channel, our new bot will immediately gather some crucial information to create a ticket or task.
You can be confident that a human from our team will still be triaging and communicating with you about details, but this workflow puts your requests directly into our project management software, making sure that nothing slips through the cracks.
Why we’re introducing the new bot
Slack is an excellent tool for communication and collaboration, but its flexibility can make it tricky to track all the threads related to a conversation. The last thing we want is for an important request or question to get missed in a bunch of notifications.
We also want to continue to provide timely responses as our team grows. The new bot will help us get your request to the team member who is best suited to help and available at that time.
If you are ever trying to make a request or ask a question and you’re having issues with the bot, just comment BADBOT and we’ll jump in to get our robot back on the right track.
